Join Fox 29 ‘s Good Day for their annual school supplies collection Friday, August 24th from 7 to 10 am in front of the studio at 4th and Market Streets. All items collected will be distributed by United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey and Cradles to Crayons.
The collection helps children start the school year equipped with the right tools needed to succeed in the classroom. As the poorest of the nation’s 10 largest cities, Philadelphia’s child poverty rate is the highest it’s been in 50 years. Fox 29’s Good Day Crew including Bus Stop Buddy will be collecting school supplies all morning. They need the following items:
