Philadelphia’s favorite bunnies are back in town. South Street Headhouse District hosts the 83rd annual Easter Promenade this Sunday, April 20. Bring the family to enjoy an egg-citing free event filled with music from the Philadelphia Freedom band, bunnies, prizes and more!
Henri David will be the Master of Ceremonies and lead the parade from Passayunk Ave down South Street to Headhouse square again this year. Be prepared to look your Easter best for the best-dressed contest taking place for children, adults and even your furry friends. Don’t forget to bring your camera to snap photos with the Bunny Hop and Mr. and Mrs. Peter Cottontail. The parade will begin at 12:30 and likely end at around 2 pm at Headhouse square.
Become part of the oldest Easter tradition here in Philadelphia and make it a family tradition of your own. Cost is FREE. For more info: www.southstreet.com.
